As somebody might have noticed, I haven't been a very frequent blogger lately (ever since I started spending too much time over at Flickr...), but as my last post was just after the presidential election, I thought it would be appropriate to try to get back into the swing of things today – the day of Barack Obama's inauguration. A new life...
I'd really like to share this most beautiful little dance (it's in Swedish, but scroll over the arrows to the right), that a friend and a great designer, Tintin Blackwell, posted on her website today, in honor of the new president. I'm in awe of those shoes, and I totally love Tintin's dance!
Am I dreaming, or is Obama really the president now..?!
Happy inauguration day!
I'm delighted you're back! And with THE MOST incredible shoes ever!! I, too, wish I had a pair.... I could watch Tintin dance in those beautiful red, white and blues (and with her puppy, no less!) for hours. What a perfect way to celebrate Obama's first day in office! It's true, everyone here is pretty happy and hopeful. It's a nice, new feeling.

What a nice surprise, welcome back. The dance of the shoes is so cute. I'm wondering if she has another pair just like the ones in the dance... that way she could wear strips one day and stars the next.
Yes, Tuesday was an exciting day and we are looking forward to better days! love to the boyz Jilly P
